Spider Veins and Telangiectasia
Spider Veins or Telangecstasias are small dilated blood vessels appearing through the surface of the skin. To gauge how small these veins actually are, note that they’re diameter is generally 1 millimeter and less.
Spider Veins are most commonly found on the upper thighs, around the ankles, and on the face around the nose and on the chin and the cheeks. This condition, Telangecestasias, in some cases can be the cause of an underlying condition: venous hypertension.
In either case, spider veins and venous hypertension can be treated. Just schedule your appointment today!
